False, Viralus-Fort Does Not Cure HIV/AIDS – AFC

Faux Badge

A post published on March 4, 2023, by the Facebook page “Toutes Les Infections” claims that Viralus-Fort cures HIV/AIDS and other viral infections. Specialists have confirmed to AFC that there is no scientific evidence to support this claim.

The information states: “VIRALUS-FORT CURES ALL VIRAL INFECTIONS.” This claim is unsupported and lacks scientific foundation.

Verification:

Dr. Ouambita-Mabo Roch, Public Health Advisor at the National AIDS Control Committee (CNLS), states:

“I inform you that there is no medication that definitively cures HIV/AIDS; these are false claims.”

Dr. Amity Tatiana, head of the Boy-Arab Health Center, also refutes:

“You are informing me about this molecule. We have ARVs at our health center; no such medication exists among these treatments, so this drug does not exist.”

According to Abel Gueret-Mayanga, President of the Central African Association of Green Fingers (ACADVS) who are victims of HIV:

“This is purely false. On social media, there are scammers trying to deceive patients living with HIV/AIDS. I have been living with HIV for over 12 years.”

False publications widely shared on social media have given patients with HIV/AIDS false hope of abandoning their ARV (antiretroviral) treatment. It is important to note that, to date, the WHO has not approved any specific treatment that definitively cures this disease.
